Personal (cell phone) Credit Balance, *150 Alternative?

I know that I can dial *150 and hear my credit balance. But given my Spanish skills hearing does not mean understanding. I seem to recall another code which you can dial which causes a text message to be sent to your phone which has your credit balance. Is there such a code or am I maybe thinking of another carrier (or have I just plain been dreaming)?

If you dial *150# (or the reverse, whichever is left to right on the dial) and hit send, it will show you your balance as a little pop-up.
