Don't think the law about the telo not being within 100m of place of worship is upheld (as reported in wander article). There's a new church on Independencia just across the road from several telos! Maybe they're trying to attract more churchgoers.

Avoid friday and sat, after 2 am. or you may encounter a long line of young hetero couples sitting on the steps waiting for a room....!! the looks can be embarrassing if you are an alternate lifestyle couple or trio I saw this happen when a man entered with a half naked working travesti from the Palermo Woods To avoid the line go to the window and ask for the most expensive suite, sure it's available.... .
