A few more people at yesterday's parade.... What made it so different was that all the shops and cafes were still open for business, not shuttered and barred against attack. Consequently they were doing excellent business and when marchers became tired, they sat down at the roadside tables, sipped cafe con leche and waved their banderas as encouragement for the more able-bodied who were passing by. The only police that I saw were conducting traffic.

On the other hand, it makes no sense. This people with their votes benefit a few, like the coffes you mention, while 43 small companies close per day:
