Reduced flight schedules and current entry / exit requirements

As I understand, today there will be a final meeting to outline.

It will be applicable for persons leaving after the DNU and not who are already out. But who knows.

Ese mecanismo de prevención y control, que se instrumentará con un DNU, establecería las siguientes disposiciones:

1. Todos los turistas argentinos que regresen al país pasarán la cuarentena en hoteles que correrán por su cuenta. Es decir: si salís de vacaciones, pagas la cuarentena, como sucede actualmente en Canadá.


2. El turista que regresa también se hace cargo del costo del hisopado.

3. Habrá un minucioso control del turista en cuarentena a través del cruce de información y de la colaboración entre las fuerzas de seguridad de la Nación y las provincias.

4. Se reducirán al mínimo las frecuencias de vuelos al exterior.

5. Gendarmería Nacional y las fuerzas de seguridad provinciales controlará el flujo informal en las fronteras argentinas con Bolivia y Brasil.

Ain’t gonna happen. Putting in place such a program takes time. And we re in Argentina. It just cannot be done until May. So maybe in May and June but not before that. They will just reduce the flights more and do some random checks at you home when you are back. That’s all.

But don't you think that some of the infrastructure for the hotel quarantine can pretty easily be revived from when they did it a year ago, or are we talking too many travelers for that to be implemented any time soon?
 
Probably best way is to do a rapid antigen test at airport. Not allow anyone to leave, till they do it. Those, positive, hotel quarantine.
