Salary

Just to clarify, my US$2k excluding rent. Plus $1k for rent, $3k.

Some are starting to get it, and some of the new, high end Mendoza wineries, owned by Americans and Euopeans for the most part are exporting all of their wines. Today. As we that could change overnight so not many are investing big yet.

However, the vast majority of wine produced in Argentina is sold on Argentina. Phillip, I'm surprised you're not in Mendoza becoming a gentleman farmer!

Heh, if I ever can hope to amass the needed capital to become a gentleman farmer, I need to stop chuging all this expensive grape juice.

You're right of course, the majority of argentine wine is drank in argentina. My point was that there are very few, good value fine wines here that are not available cheaper in overseas markets.
