I want to send a birthday gift to the US via regular mail. Has anyone done that?

FedEx and DHL are much too expensive.
 
I’ve shipped a few things in the past. I always use Correo Argentino. Make sure you send it “Certificado”.
It’s First Class mail With Track and Trace number. I’ve never lost a package.
 
How long would it take mas o menos for a birrgocard to get from AR to USA?

I forgot to mention that if you’re shipping an international package you’ll have to fill out a simple customs form stating whats in it.
Also they're going to ask you for ID. Your DNI is fine, if you don’t have one you can bring your passport. They won’t ship anything with ID.
 
Thanks, D.B. Am sending a beautiful Peruvian aguayo as a birthday gift. It is an ancient, one-of-a-kind handwoven piece. Hope it makes it through.
