Shortage of US Imported Food Products

There was an incident , no many cases where the Islamic immigrants want to dictate to the host country what are the proper cultural mores, it just pisses me off. I want to say please go back to your country of origin.

I am a U.S citizen who plans to visit Argentina in October and maybe become an expat. I hope that I can be respectful of my host as I would want guest to be respectful of my country.

I have been reading the posts here for a couple of years and have lived in Buenos Aires and the outskirts of town. My wife is argentine and we have a young daughter. I have to laugh sometimes at the posts and sometimes be saddened at others. Elpanada and tatan remind me of why I left Argentina, but I know they don't represent all the people there.I live in the real world where I have to support my family and that is why we are in the U.S. right now. I did like most of the people there ,but it does get you tired of people trying to take advantage of you because you are a gringo. I don't know of people where I live trying to take advantage of people from another country. I would like to go back if I can find a way of supporting them and myself. I would like to know if elpanada or tatan have been to the U.S or they just get all their information through socialist rags and ernie you are the only one on this site who seems to know what the hell is going on go BOCA

BBQ sauce is extremely rare .Maybe the ketchup at McDs is Heinz?
You can get bbq sauce at any supermarket ( Danica ) and the chinese in Belgrano have a variety of brands. McD uses Hellman´s ketchup

Ah yeah, Nikad's right -- I totally forgot about the Chinatown collection of BBQ too... they've also got Peanut Butter but it's more natural than Skippy / Kraft etc, so some don't like it. It's great for making peanut sauce though

Going off topic (as is my wont in my dotage), but couldn't agree with you more.

Well, I found Planter´s a couple of times there, actually the ¨natural PB¨ is nothing compared to the processed stuff :) I was introduced to it by my husband and I cannot understand why it never became a popular product here since it is soooo yummy! Btw, somebody is selling a bag of peanut buttercups on Mercado Libre ( 500 grs ) at 30 pesos ( holly steal batman! )

What the hell does peanut butter have to do with Muslim immigrants questioning European culture??? This doesn’t make ANY sense at all. I think you are waaaay off topic, buddy... So what about the Argentines in the US who get a craving for dulce de leche? Maybe what they are doing in reality is questioning American morals and I didn’t notice...

Johny-Well maybe its just me, but it seems that anytime elpanada responds or remarks, it makes no sense whatsoever other than sounding like a stark raving lunatic. FYI- I just came from Jumbo in Palermo...they have no PB but expect a shipment in month or so of Skippy. Lots of Cranberry juice, decent mustard and pickles among other things...

Johny.
"What the hell does peanut butter have to do with Islamic immigrants questioning European culture" It is the Bitch, Bitch, Bitch. I went to France in 1960 whith the 101st Airborn Division during the Berlin Chrisis. How I saw my fellow americans conduct themselves toward the French, calling them Frogs sickened me. I don't know if you read, but if you do please read, First published in 1958, The Ugly American became a runaway national bestseller for its slashing exposé of American arrogance, incompetence, and corruption. No I don't support Elpanada for his (in your words) butt-kissing everthing Argentine because I can tell you much about American imperialism and arrogance, I take no great pride in being American. What repulses me about you Johny is your blatant arrogance. Do you see a connection?
Just before the Iraq war we in the U.S couldn't get anything French. We couldn't get French fries, the name was changed to FREEDOM FRIES.
