By nice I meant something easy to sell here, not some crazy shiny thousand dólar bike. Some used might be perfect, with trek, merida or giant written with small letters. Probably he could use it without huge risk, but with a profit at the end.

For commuting and casual bike rides, I would go all the way with a decent folding bike like the Tern Link D8 or Dahon D8. You can get'em for about 700 in the US and some 30/50% more in BA.
