Some Texans Don't Know Their Own State Flag

They use the Confederate flag in Florida, too - and most of the deep south. Mostly on trucks. To me it's just a sign of being a redneck.

There's a store in Unicenter that has a Confederate flag as its logo - John L Cook. I always feel a little weird whenever I pass by it.

1) John L. Cook is a "BRAND" that has stores in a variety of malls.

2) There were PLENTY of Confederate flags at the gun show here in Buenos Aires that I went to earlier this year.

I have to ask, what's wrong with the confederate flag?
Also have to ask to picture you going by a place with a rising sun flag(japanese flag during ww2)do you feel the same?
or maybe it's just prejudice against the rebel flag,if you see or feel the rebel flag as negative or ''mala onda''

I think slavery alone is not a very strong selling point for the people who stood behind the confederate flag. It's kind of hard to separate that from the rest, even in cases in which you might argue that a quest for independence or secession might be justified.
