Struggling with Claro Prepago

Just an update regarding the mobile phone situation.
1. Text loading did not work
2. Going through my settings to add credit via the 'chip Claro' facility did not function either.
3. Kiosk's were unable to recharge.

I essentially put the idea of Argentina sim to bed - I had been without mobile connectivity for 2 months already, so it didn't bother me particularly.

However, after three days I suddenly received a text from Claro telling me that my Balance was $0.00. I tried loading my phone with the aforementioned Recargo card via text and it worked fine. So in essence it seems that it simply took a few days between activation and registering on the Claro network.
