I would think that those who are commuters already know this, but the subte isn't moving today. Or at least, there aren't any police and so it is REALLY "ride at your own risk". (Don't know which is correct.)

According to this photo and article, it would appear that the subte is CLOSED.

All subway services suspended, delays on morning commute

All subway services were suspended until further notice, as previously announced by the UTA subway and train drivers union.

Commuters were forced to look for alternative transport this morning, as the planned subway strike was well underway.

All six subway line services and the Premetro were suspended due to the outstanding union conflict, Metrovías informed. Bus services were also delayed due to high demand, causing traffic chaos across the city.

According to the press release issued by the company via their website, “the service is suspended completely on the A, B, C, D, E and H lines, and on the Premetro due to the measures taken by the UTA union.”

I've read that it was raining earlier today, so that was nice.

Waited 10 mins on Av. Libertador until there is a free taxi.
