Has anyone been here recently? Someone recommended it as a great birthday-dinner restaurant, but their only experience was in 2007. Am trying to get an idea of current quality, prices, wine list, etc. (I never trust Guia Oleo... the Argentine palate and I just do not see eye-to-eye.)

I like it. I've been here more than any other restaurant in BA, and while it is good I have to say that I have been less impressed with my more recent visits. Part of that may be sticker shock - main plates were around $45 pesos in 2008 and now you can expect to pay around $90+. They do take the La Nacion card which gives you a 20% discount.

Certainly yoyu and your family can live here with THAT income!.
Advice: buy a home or nice apt if you can, that way u will not pay a high rent.
Also buy a local car here, they are more expensive than in the USA but you will get more money when you sell it too!!.
PM if you need some help
