Agreed - it's like spending 2 weeks in Manhattan and saying "The vast majority of Americans are skinny." Most NYers are in shape and not overweight but you can't extrapolate one neighborhood or city to the population of an entire country. Yes, there is a higher percentage of skinny people in Cap Fed - especially in Recoleta or Canitas, etc. Leave those neighborhoods, leave Cap Fed and the reality is different.

Again, 13th fattest country in the world. Facts are facts.

Mmm I still disagree. I lived a while in Once, and now I live in Almagro, and these are not cheto neighborhoods at all, but i STILL find people on average to be much thinner than I was ever used to. Also, the number of thin women who do not eat lunch, or do not drink, or do not eat more than 1 piece of pizza because they are cuidandose, is just frightening. Maybe there are lots of fat men here, but anorexia is huge among women...its like they invent panzas out of thin air!!!...you dont have a panza, eat a little!!!

I took a tour with eyes wide open (rather than just narrowing in on the 10s) and I was sort of surprised to notice that much more than 1/2 the people I saw out and about were "overweight", not very many obese people but tons of overweight.

And I hate to validate whoever pointed the fingers at the immigrants but looking around the dark skin black hair crowd was noticeably heavier.
