Suggestions for washer/dryer combo unit? Brand? Stores?

French jurist is right; it works best when you empty half the wet clothes and dry in batches. But it's worth it anyway to always check it before it starts drying. I accidentally shrunk a couple of my favorite things because I had it set to start drying automatically. Beware of that! I now always keep the drier button off until I take everything out, double check and separate things like blouses or sweaters that I want to dry partially or not at all. Then, I activate the drier.

Still the space and time saving it worth it!

I have the same Longvie washer dryer combo too... I love it.... especially during cold rainy weather. It might not be ecological but, I haven't noticed a painfully large increase in our electricity bill. It has a pretty limited capacity but for a single person or a young couple without kids, its perfect. You do have to dry in batches as stated before. And last.. during the summer... I never ever ever would use the dryer. It heats up our apartment to about 900 degrees.
