Are there hotels in the city where I could go to use their facilities? -- most likely for a fee.
It would be nice to swim and perhaps use a jacuzzi or sauna too.

If anyone has thoughts on what might be available within the city it would be appreciated.

I would think it would not be in the area of the city where I am living - Villa Crespo -

Thus I am asking this community for their thoughts on the subject.

Many Thanks

Walter

I don't know of any hotel with a decent size swimming pool but Hotel Castelar has a day spa where at least you could use the jacuzzi and sauna.

The hilton in Puerto madero has a roof top pool with great views of the city, not really big enough for swimming laps but definitely big enough to be Also get a croissant from the bakery in the lobby while you're there.

Most of the 5* hotels have swimming pools, gyms and health clubs open to anyone willing to pay the membership fee (month/annual).

Sportclub and Megatlon also have swimming pools at some of their locations.

Keep in mind that clubs require you to present a medical certificate before allowing you use of any of the equipment, but especially the pool amenities

there is an Olympic size pool at Juan b Gusto y El Salvador. it is NOT spa, nor particularly clean change rooms etc.
Pool is clean and big though. (50 meters) and good for laps etc.

Its not a hotel but theres a pretty big pool in el club de chacarita (teodoro Garcia and Alvarez tomas)...not too far from v crespo depending where you live. I stopped going because the water tasted like Axe deodorant. They've refurbished the pool since then so maybe it no longer tastes like deodorant. When I got the updated price lists though, it now costs around 440 for a month pass...which I thought was a bit steep (it was half that just over a year ago) but I have no idea how this compares to anywhere else.

I appreciate the various information given to me on this subject.

thank you very much
