Great result Australia securing The Ashes in Perth this morning!!
Hard luck to England - I don't actually think that they are that bad - but have just been bullied and harassed by the Australians from the safety of their home turf. They have systematically broken down the English by either targeting individual players weaknesses or waging a campaign of mental disintegration: Prior Swann and Anderson look like shadows of the players that they really are atm.
During the day 3 / 4 carnage at Perth I have rarely seen an English team so badly on their knees. To their credit they fought back valiantly in the 4th innings to lose only by 150, when it could have been much worse. Fantastic century to Ben Stokes who may well haunt the Aussies in future series.
Looking forward to the east coast tests and a more reasonable start time (8pm). Bring on Melbourne and 4-0!!!
