I laugh when kirchneristas criticize the PRO for their management of the subway system. What ever happened with the extension of Line E? You can't tell me that Cristina Fernández isn't aware; it's the only public works project that she can see from the Casa Rosada. It has been "en obra" since I got here in 2008! Even though they claim they are no longer responsible for the project, the sign announcing the project -- with an old government slogan -- still stands proudly nearby.

I don't like Macri and seeing some of his PRO public works in previous posts even less so however Im not sure anyone can deny the logic in something he says fairly often (along the lines of)

-Argentinians shouldnt wait for and depend on an enigmatic leader to come along and save them and the country. We should all asume responsibilty in improving the country. We should all be the change we want to see-

It's not easy to solve the problems of a country with weak institutions (which are themselves the primary problem). Of course, one could argue that a country full of Argentines is the cause of that primary problem.

And the penalty interest rates provinces and municipalities are having to pay for bonds (+10%) because K refuses to deal with the vultures is costing every tax payer a fortune. The amount paid in penalty interest rates over time will pale in comparison to the $1.2 billion owed the vultures. Plain friggin stupid. Shooting yourself in the foot.

Yes when Macri took over the first thing he did was to change all the municipal administration's communications to the colours of his PRO organisation. His party political propaganda is indistinguishable from those of the local government.
