This Is It, My Dream House In Argentina !

I remember seeing some traditional alpine type architecture in San Martin de los Andes. I recommend this style for Hybrid-san for his $100K ;)

Honey, I forgot my keys on the 3rd floor, would you be kind enough to get them for me...

Why is that, the real estate agency listing all these Quintas or Estancias seems asking selling prices in Dollars?
I thought advertising in Dollars was illegal in Argentina, but it seems OK ?

On average more interesting in Chile? Those wood houses in Chile???

Chilean architecture varies dramatically from region to region - Valparaíso has fantastic wooden houses, while the countryside is full of adobes. I particularly like the historic quarter of Iquique - see, for example, http://www.marksmayo.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/P1040583.jpg

The historic houses in Valparaiso are beautiful. I also like the historic houses around the 10th region from ~1860-1900. With Chilean wood houses I was referring to the average house built in the last 50 years in Chile. Most of them are architecturally pretty boring.

Even before I moved to my present location I was well aware of the fact that property closer to Bahia Blanca was more "expensive" than mine, but the asking price of this 12,000 meter sq. quinta (the same size as mine) is a jaw-dropper:

"Semi-rural" lots near Bahia Blanca (with neighbors close by) are typically priced from about $50 USD per sq. meter:

to $100 USD per sq. meter:

Land near my quinta is closer to $20 USD per sq. meter.

And, in some cases, very rural land is priced at less than $10 USD per sq.meter:

Nonetheless, I think Hybrid-san can surely find a "better" place (if not country) to sit in his "first class" massage chair and watch his "first class" TV.

Yep, the Inada massage chair and the Sony 85+70 both coming with me! Will leave my connections in US with DishNetwork
to record all my favourites in the Hopper tuner. Only thing needing is a very reliable Wi-Fi there, wherever I build/buy that detached
house + needing to have least 5k mtrs but liking to have a Hectare ideal.

steve-san, those posted "lote" are not much desirable, no trees around. Iam a tree hugger so need to watch, touch and smell the green scent! And the 1st link, the house is way too big looking and don't wanting to spend US$650K either!

Can you post link pics to your own Estancia that sits on fabulous 12K meters! I have seent it in post elsewhere but not able to find? Also, do you own a Honda CR-V compact SUV? thought seen it parked in front of your Estancia ?

I'll send the link to your email.

There's no CR-V parked in front of my house, but the previous owner of the property did own a Toyota Hilux.

Here's one example of a "hacienda" style house that would be ideal to build on the land next to me:

steve-san, I kind of liking this pics posted by Isadora from Italy. Nice trees, green yards, detached houses, is this in BsAs?
