This Is It, My Dream House In Argentina !

Chile, of course, has abundant wood construction but, from what I can tell, the framing is often terrible.
It is almost impossible to get wood that is really dry in Chile. Probably the reason why they use a lot metal framing these days.

On average more interesting in Chile? Those wood houses in Chile???

I don't see many interesting houses in Argentina.

A few more examples in Chile:

Also, in Jose Ignacio, Uruguay, I saw quite many interesting architectures

There are many great architects in Argentina that will build whatever you want.

I remember seeing some traditional alpine type architecture in San Martin de los Andes. I recommend this style for Hybrid-san for his $100K ;)

Bwahhaha ! What a Lindo place! ha,ha,haaa... Out of Disneylandia design..!

This is located near Mercedes (a weekend tourist destination from BA) and is priced at $135K USD:

It's on 5000 meters and has a pool.

It even has a quincho that seats 50.

Perhaps you could have a "casa de fiestas" with an (optional) Asian menu.

Pretty doable at US$135k, The house facade is very charming, where is Mercedez municipalidad in distance Km from Buenos Aires?

You know the professor in Japan that makes houses from paper. Here is a man in Argentina that makes houses from plastic bottles: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-15505130
