Unlocking an AT&T iPhone 4 with a Gevey SIM to use a Claro chip

Has anyone been succesful unlocking an At&t locked iPhone 4 using a Gevey SIM card (blue or red) in order to use it with an unlimited Data plan from Claro?
I guess I'll need to give the new IMEI to Claro but that's not the question.

No idea -yet- what the OS or BB is.

Not all iOS versions / basebands can be unlocked via hack or Gevey SIM. Find out what you have via:

- Settings > General > About > Version (your iOS version)
- Settings > General > About > Modem Firmware (your baseband)

Once you have that, go to the Gevey site or forum boards and see if it is possible to unlock your phone with their cards.

I friend of mine has an iPhone 4 (orig from AT&T USA) unlocked here with a Gevey card. No issues with the 112 dial-to-unlock.
