Hi Dave (and any other experts!)
I have an unlocked iphone 4 that I want to use over the Dec / Jan period in Argentina (pretty much from one side of the country to the other i.e. BA to Mendoza and spots in between).
I would like to get a pay as you go SIM that I can use across the country with some data allowance. Movistar seems to talk about "roaming" across Argentina (I usually equate roaming with using the phone internationally) and the plans seem to last for only a certain number of days (as opposed to usage)....?
1. Can I get a pay as you go iPhone 4 sim with a data allowance?
2. If not, what is the best PAYG sim (obviously will have to cut down) to use which will cover me across the nation with the ability to download data (we are thinking of using tom tom maps or similar for GPS via the iphone)?
I haven't quite been able to find these specific answers on the forum, so would appreciate any guidance.
