Very Good Article - Democracy & Peronism For Beginners

Thank you! Certainly has a slant to it, but I learned a lot about a topic that continues to mystify me.

Peron, while in Spain, said:

"En argentina hay un 33% de radicales, un 33% de socialistas y un 33% de conservadores."

The journalist interviewing him asked, "y los peronistas general?"

Peron replied, "Ah no! peronistas son todos!"

The article points out there is a looming crisis for Peronismo...I simply ask, which version of it? Peron was a totalitarian @$$hole of the worst kind (for he modeled his regime after the worst dictators of Europe) but I don't think he was wrong about all being peronistas. So far, apart from PRO, who don't stand a chance of winning the elections in 2015 (as things look right now), all the "alternatives" are one kind of peronistas to replace another kind of peronistas.

Or am I wrong about that?

First post I can recall titled Very Good Article with a link worth clicking on. There are no doubt many who have bought in to the comforting narrative of 'the existence of barras/punteros/clientelismo/judicial interference/flagrant rule by decree/nepotism/amigos empresarios/ youth activist wings infiltrating schools & positions of influence/greased palms, kick backs and inflation para todos etc began with and will end with el Kirchnerismo' who would be best served just moving on to the next diatribe filled with exclamation marks and liberal use of that most versatile letter that comes between J and L.

I wish the author knew the difference between a "tenant" and a "tenet."

I hope you're wrong about PRO's chances.
