And said they will contact my wife within 48 hours. They couldn't provide any details.

Its the Know Your Customer (KYC) controls. they tell you to contact [email protected], upload your ID to http://upload.wu.com and
they may look for bank statements showing source of funds. make sure to get a case number for reference otherwise they will never resolve it.

I don't think a corporation that size gives a flying **** what the government of Argentina thinks, does, or says. Corp-rats like that operate on an economic level so far above ours that it's difficult for us to imagine. WU doesn't use the CCL, WU is the CCL.
