What's your secret for negotiating a better exchange rate at Western Union?
WU is paying up to 1114, without leaving the house. And anyone with the foresight to have a reserve of hard currency USD can get 1160 strolling down calle Florida (as I did an hour ago). Or going to Reby.

I recently used Remitly.com and got a great rate but today they're only offering 1060 and western union is offering 1149 with a usa bank to Argentina bank transfer with no fee, seems pretty good.

How do you get no fees with WU? I am always slammed with a hefty fee...

I have no idea, maybe it's because it's my first transfer? It said there was a fee of $54.99 but it was 100% off.

This is a USA bank to Argentina bank transfer, it said this was the cheapest way to send. Instead of using a credit card. I haven't tried it yet but plan to in the next few days.

Good luck!

Pete

My experience with WU has been excellent. When charged a fee, I consider it a cost of doing business.WU is reliable, prompt and convenient. I don't want to stroll up Florida Street to change money.

Como on, banker. Think of all those extra bottles of Nampe you can buy.
