Earlier this afternoon I was able to download the Pago Fácil app and set up an account/wallet using my Samsunng Galaxy A02. The process included submitting photos of my DNI and recording a short video of my face making circular motions.

When I logged into my Pago Fácil for the first time, I was prompted to add my Social Security number and add a completed and signed IRS form to comply with FACTA. I downloaded the blank form from the IRS website and sent it to a kiosk in Punta Alta.

I will make my next WU transfer on the 3rd of December and I should be able to transfer the funds to my Argentine bank account within minutes, rather than having to wait until the late afternoon or even (on rare occasions) late in the afternoon the next day.

The google account you are currently using, has USA (or another country) as the country associated with your google account, not Argentina. That is why Google Play will make some apps available for you and not others. So you can change your associated country in your google account to Argentina, and your problem will be resolved. Keep in mind, you can only make a country change once a year.

Lunar seems to say that you can have two different google accounts (one will have country as Argentina) and switch between them as needed. It is possible to have 2 different google accounts for the same phone number, but nt 2 different gmail accounts. FYI

This is what I do.

Every google account comes with a Gmail address. You can have as many google accounts / gmail addresses that you want. There is no restriction. The Gmail Android app will let you configure with multiple gmail accounts, it is easy to switch between each one in the gmail app, and easy to switch between them in the play store app.

@pmacay It is the google play store app that you need to add a new second google account and tell it you are in Argentina. Then be sure that is the active play store account when you look for the patio facil app.

Open the Google Play Store. Go to Settings > General > Account and Device Preferences > Country and profiles. There, you will see the country associated with your Google account. The country is explicitly set at some point and is not defined by the SIM card you have inserted at the moment.

To change it, you must be physically located in the new country and have a valid payment method from that country. I mean the credit card you link to pay for the apps you purchase in the Google Play Store.

Please note that if you change your country to Argentina, some US banking applications may no longer be available for download. Therefore, it might be better to maintain two separate Google accounts: one for Argentina and one for the US, and switch between them when necessary.

Are you able to have the same phone number associated with 2 different gmail accounts? Yes you can have as many google accounts and gmail accounts. You can also associate different google accounts with the same phone number. But I was under the impression that you could not associate 2 different gmail accounts with the same phone number.

Should have googled this before: Users can have up to four Gmail accounts linked to the same phone number. Thanks

Thanks for clarifying the problem with the google app store and gmail accounts. I'll create a new one and specify Argentina, I created my google/gmail account a long time ago.

Hi Steve, Have tried to download the Pago Facil app, no success from Playstore . The message said the app not available in your area.. Any Help. Also used a VPN to try.
