Am I deluding myself for thinking that I might ever be able to pick up dollars at western union ? I've hit the offices(all of them) in micro centro, with no success. Should I try a different barrio, or just give up and go pick the money out in Montevideo? Any thoughts or comments on this ?
 
Type in the word dollars into the search forum. There have been a few previous conversations about this but as far as i know you will NOT be able to pick up your money in dollars.
 
Western Union will give you the pesos at the ¨official¨ (screwy) exchange rate. They will no longer give you USD in Argentina.
