What Are Sweet Potatoes (Or Do I Mean Yams) Called Here?

Maybe you could try peruvians markets,they love potatoes.
Sweet potato is batata

What we call Yam is called Camote,used fairly often in Peruvian food but not so easily found in Argentina. Maybe if you talk with the Bolivian or Peruvian grocers they can find some..that's how I got cilantro.

Not to get off point too much, but I regularly find cilantro in Jumbo and Disco in those little plastic boxes wrapped with cellophane, as whole stems and leaves.
