I like the innate politeness of the Argentines. I've given up counting how many times a visitor or workman says 'permiso' when they come into the house.I've even started saying it myself.
It's an old fashioned sort of politeness that I've rarely seen before.
I also like how you can start a business over here and make it work, without being overburdened by exhorbitant local costs (street shop), which in UK is not quite so easy.
