None of the above, including the comments (well, maybe with the exception of Steve's).

I think the pizza is horrible. The ice cream is so-so.

Empanadas? Milanesas? I can't imagine these being anyone's favorite food.

I'd have to say my favorite food here is a good bife de lomo. It's always excellent at A Los Bifes and Desnivel.

The ice cream quality is extremely high, especially at Cadore and Jauja, but there are many other excellent ones. Fugazzetta is great, as are empanadas, but milanesa is most often revolting. I will always choose entraña over any other cut of beef.

You're entitled to your opinion. (Even if it's wrong :p.)

My current favorite Argentine delicacy is extremely hard to get your hands on, and only worth it if you're trying to get rid of some pesos. When you do get ahold of this delicacy you feel like you're stealing candy from a baby. It's called the dolar oficial.

It's hard to beat the ice cream here. I've never had better ice cream any place else. I'm baffled that someone said they don't like the ice cream on this forum. However, I do not like it when my wife's family mixes together ten different flavors in the same bowl and serves it to me. The combination of lemon with dulce de leche just doesn't quite go together. The lesson here being: get first in line, and serve yourself what you want before it all melts together!

Crème brûlée de Dulce de Leche? anyone?

Dulce de leche is the single most disgusting "food" item on the planet.
That's obviously overstatement on your part.

Dulce de Leche is similar to the Maple Syrup of our Beloved Canada. It is only good taken in small quantities.

A thin layer of Dulce de Leche in a Recotta Torta is marvelous.

Some ice cream varieties go well together. I love to mix Cadore's chocolate amargo and mousse de limón.

dang you stole my idea! I was going to say that my favorite delicacy is the dolar blue :p (too soon??)

but for real, I enjoy the pizza (understanding that it's different than the pizza i'm used to eating in the states), though of course some places are better than others, but a good old fashioned slice of napolitana from kentucky is all I need haha. I really haven't been blown away by the ice cream though. I dont understand what's so special about it to be honest. It tastes like the same ice cream I've always had. and i LOVE empanadas mostly because i consider them like fast food, but much better for you than mcdonalds (or any other fast food) and i know that someone actually made it by hand. my family is middle eastern and we eat meat pies that are really similar to empanadas, so they also remind me of my mom's cooking a bit.

but of course i vote for the asado (and the surrounding ritual)
