Rich One,
"...long term development." And this is one of the major setbacks for this country to go forward - an almost total lack of any long term development, whether it be the public or private sector. I sometimes get the feeling that people here simply don't want to be bothered with long term planning and development.
You lead the way Joe, Go cash your dolars at the airport kiosk and put your faith in this government.
Just like Christina I am looking at ways of taking financial advantage of the situation.
Well I'm bucking for a position as a financial policy consultant to Kiciloff so those were just some of the ideas I will be pitching. Here's another good idea:
When you enter Argentina you will be required to bring in $200 dollars in cash for each day of your stay. Your passport will be stamped accordingly. In return for the cash, you will receive a debit card funded at the PER (Patriotic Exchange Rate). As a convenience to Euro travelers you can bring 200 Euros in lieu of the $200. These debit cards will have your choice of images: Kiciloff, Moreno, Lorenzino or another cabinet member. For an additional modest $50 (US$) you can receive Nestor's or Cristina's image. And for $100 you can have the image of Che or Eva on your beautiful new debit card with a faux Argentinean leather frame to take back home to remind you of your wonderful time in the land of tango and enlightened economic policies!
