Like radicchio is/was in the US. In Italy it's abundant and cheap!

I'm here about 12 days and already missing kale, but today I got some gorgeous organic acelga and other greens at El Galpon.

It prospers in our backyard in California, and should do very well on balcony planters in BA as well.

It is not sold in Barrio Chino... Nola Chef once mentioned (in a FB comment) that she had found a source but it was never followed up on.
My friend is bringing me a pack of seeds from the states! If I can grow it in my balcony garden you will all be given a leaf.

If the locals or surrounding country inbound migrants don't eat it in sufficient quantities it's hard to ge hold of. Number 1 rule of thumb for food in Argentina.
