Anyone know why 100 dollar bills are worth more than two 50s? Such a strange quirk or changing money in Argentina. Dont think its the same issue changing Euros.
 
Also anyone have advice on getting the best rate on Euros? Is changing cash better than western union transfers? Is there any value in paying with cards?

Small bills are like a hot potato, nobody wants them so they're worth less. People only want $100 bills with the big face here
 
US Hundreds have global recognition, and are universally accepted. Also, due to years of research, we know that 1 million worth of them fits in standard sized samsonite suitcase, hence certain products being priced in "samsonites".
At this point, its tradition, familiarity, and ease of use.
