It's what every outgoing Argentine government does, but that doesn't make it right.
Except for Perón.
It's what every outgoing Argentine government does, but that doesn't make it right.
Try and forget all the GDP to debt ratios and such for a minute. The one and only question is, can Argentina service its debt?
Mr. Possum is a Socialist, and he knows what he's doing. You say that because I'm a capitalist, I don't care for the People. Mr Possum, I'm pretty sure I don't know you outside the forum and I would appreciate it if you would not put words into my mouth, or actions into my existence.
Sigh. President Rouhani came out the very next day and said they should not be punished for being happy. This means they will not be punished, as he is both President and a renowned authority on Islamic law, as well as a lawyer, and diplomat. This is just more Fox news BS.
Women's rights? Here is his position-
There must be equal opportunities for women. There is no difference between man and woman in their creation, in their humanity, in their pursuit of knowledge, in their understanding, in their intelligence, in their religious piety, in serving God and in serving people.
But, hey, great job of dodging the facts.
Mr. Possum is a Socialist, and he knows what he's doing.

(wall o text edited for brevity)Then, according to you:My response:
- I'm a capitalist.
- My concern is NOT for the people.
- My thoughts illogical and not connected.
- I'm not establishing anything.
- I'm not a capitalist. I do believe in some capitalist ideas, absolutely. I AM a Libertarian (among other things). Not a US Republican with "liberal" social beliefs. If you don't understand the difference, do some research. If you still think my ideas are wholly capitalistic, I'd be happy to debate them with you in a non-condescending manner.
Libertarian, eh? Take a look, your boys Ron Paul and Rand Paul are both members of the Republican party. And in practical terms, Libertarians are Conservatives, because their policies would be hugely beneficial to the rich, and horribly detrimental to the poor. I don't need to hear about the theory, I've been lectured for hours about Libertarianism.

If you help 30 poor people every day, more power to you. I sincerely respect that. But you were the one who said that your primary concern was for foreign investors. How do you expect that to be interpreted? If you care first about the poor, why didn't you say so?
And the reason the regulars agree is because they're Conservatives, too. That doesn't mean you're correct. It's called groupthink.
In NY it called a fire of convenience when a restaurant burns down. It's just part of the plan.In the meantime, while everyone is slinging mud and trying to find labels for each other, the threat of another default is becoming more real...

Sounds like Argentina is already anticipating the likely need for another default if the Supreme Court doesn't hear their case.
