Agustina Rios Martinez said a bouncer banned her from the Rose in Rio club in the Buenos Aires, Argentina when she arrived with her boyfriend.

She says the couple had been invited to a pal's birthday party but the doorman would not let her in because she did not "hit the target".

you have no idea. There are lot racist bars in palermo who stop people basis their looks, skin color. Its v common here.

In tango marathons or encuentros it is the other way around... (Because outside Argentina many more women are interested in dancing tango than men.) Easy for men to get in, competitive for women Though the best place to dance stays Buenos Aires.

Ha, ha. I was thinking the same thing. I've traveled all over the world and this is the M.O. for most clubs around the world. Not saying it's right but pretty normal.
