Hi fellow expats!
I'm Derek, a 22 year old grad who has been living here in BA off & on for about 1.5 years now. From a military family in the US (family now lives in Boston) but I moved from DC to BA officially this past June.
I studied abroad here during my junior year at Gettysburg College in PA (Feb-Aug 2010), lived in Alto Palermo, met my boyfriend and caught the BA love bug
Spent my senior year visiting whenever possible, graduated in May with a BA in music, minors in anthropology and Spanish, and decided to make the big move to live with my now fiance and find a job here in the area.
We live in the Lomas de Zamora/Banfield area of Zona Sur. Any other expats around these parts?
