The state of the construction industry

I can't either. It's not in my nature. Anyway, I have a construction question: Do they actually use lumber to build here? I though everything was build with brick and concrete.

    Heeeeeeelllp !!!!!

    Real lattes, cappuccinos, etc.

It sounds very complicated! lWhy not just grind then assemble then put it on the stove? I've never seen anyone do it the way you describe. What's the benefit? ETA: My husband thinks your method is completely logical. He was explaining why but I stopped listening.

The euro: How low can it go?

I'm good with the EU in general even with some of the problems. But I've always been against the Euro. It was a problem waiting to happen. Anyway, the EU is set up to ease trade among member countries. The Euro made it too expensive to have anything made in the Eurozone, espeically in...

Is It Just Me? Voluntary Deportation

In a real crisis, governments and governmental bodies will come and pick you up on war ships. I've had friends evacuated from war zones. Try go get your country to bail you out cuz you "don't like it" and can't get family & friends to pitch is maybe not the same thing.

    Moving sale.

I have had a lot of interest in the AC and the washer dryer. Like I said above, I will take reasonable offers on the washer dryer as it's the only big item that we really don't want to take with us. A/C: Bodner & Mann, German, upright, on wheels, room air conditioner, 220-240 1400W 12,000BTU...

Need Advice - rent in dollars

This is all really turning into a huge mess. It's a shame really. I can't give you any advice but to speak frankly, firmly but friendly to your landlord and say you have the same problem they have and you shouldn't have have to be the one to bear all the burden of this new decreto. Then see if...
