I don't have enough time left to 'sit still and ride out the storm'. If the trip I'd like to take has too many flights and thus too much opportunity to be stranded, where would be a good one stop trip for the month of Sept? Lisbon/Algarve? Thailand? Mexico?

We just came back from a trip to the US where we took 7 flights without any problems. If I book a trip to Europe for Sept/Oct can I expect the same reliability from the airlines there? One cancellation could strand us somewhere and wreck our itinerary.

Last week we stayed at the JW Marriott in Brickell and looked at condos in the area. It was full of rapper and nba entourage wannabees. Out hotel, the streets, the restaurants.

Just returned from Brickell ( among other places). Brickell was alive with trendy (way overpriced) restaurants and lots of people but the crowd was mostly rapper types with flashy cars and gold jewelry.

We loved Sevilla, Malaga, and the Algarve, this time we were thinking of the Lisbon area and the Algarve. @Renzi This may be a good time to visit those places we think about but that never make it to the top of our lists, like Banff.
