Can anyone advise me of where within Olivos / Vicente Lopez is good to live with kids? We are hoping to get around without a car for a few years? Is this a reasonable option to think? We will have bikes, is it a safe area to ride... Eg to and from school? Thanks in advance for your replies...

We are planning to travel overland Cusco to Salta with a 6 & 8 year old. Any advice welcome... We have about 20 days. Is this reasonable? We are planning to fly Salta - BA. Is there a better alternative? It does seem quite expensive.
