    Spanish Influencer Blasts Argentina Roads

The amount of attention that Argentinians give to "Influencing" foreigners is insane to me. Just as insane is how much the right wing loves it. They can't get enough of foreigners, especially from the "first world", talking down on their country. Someone could stand in the middle of a Milei or...

Argentina's inflation makes the NY Times front page

"La inflación argentina nota de tapa del New York Times en estos momentos. Pero, pobres gringos, no entienden nada. No saben cómo podemos hacer cálculo económico con inflación y no llegan a captar que los argentinos somos los mayores expertos mundiales en la materia." The words of Libertario...

Cheap EZE to MIA flights with Aerolineas?

Imagine being so warped by expat life in Palermo, filling your days with visits to cafes with wall to wall TN and LN propaganda, that you refuse to fly with an airline just because it's state owned and you are filled with rabid hatred of the government currently running it.... ....all because...

José Luis Espert asked to imprison or shoot the Mapuches

"Touch on the conservative side" That's being kind, after five minutes on that Reddit sub you've be forgiven for thinking Hitler had succeeded in escaping to Argentina and establishing the Forth Reich here in Argentina.

City Hall bans use of inclusive language in BA schools

It may be mission impossible to find somewhere to rent in Buenos Aires, however at least I will always have some rent free space in the minds of the Juntos following of Baexpats!

City Hall bans use of inclusive language in BA schools

Didn't Larreta offer courses for teachers just last year on how to teach inclusive language? Out of all of the candidates in Juntos por el Cargo Larreta is the one that bugs me the most. A bicycle lane for Palermo here, a kids climbing frame for Belgrano there, and he's portraying himself as...

Instead of agonizing over it I'd suggest to bite the bullet like me and marry yourself into the Argentine abyss.

Applying for Permanent Residency- Interview with Migraciones

How long has it taken for posters to get the permanent residency finalized following the cita at migraciones? I'm currently at the "TRAMITE EN PROCESO DE SUPERVISION" stage following the cita, how long has it taken posters to get pushed on to "DISPOSICIÓN DE RESIDENCIA PROTOCOLIZADA"? Cheers.

Applying for residency - issues with Clerical stuff

Ah ok I had the same issue (I had a RNR boleta expired). It isn't possible to pay online but you can pay it in person at a Provincia Net location. I went to the one at Ayacucho 374 and paid it without any issues.

Applying for residency - issues with Clerical stuff

Did you receive two bills (boletas) to pay? You need to pay the boletas, the one they are talking about is the one headed RNR and can be paid at Correo Argentino or provincia net (if it's expired you can only pay at provincia net). Once you have paid, resubmit your application without changing...

Applying for Permanent Residency- Interview with Migraciones

Looks like I got the same person as you @Quilombo.. ("absolute Karen" is the best description I can find..). She wanted my wife's physical DNI which I had, gave me a cold hard stare when she discovered I didn't have a translation of my passport, and then looked at the digital translations of my...
