Have Many issues with Cuban State Socialism and the exploitation of Professionals

They reject them because they're competition, not because they're not needed or not good enough. The associations cited are unions, not just a group of professionals giving their opinion, they're advocating for their members economic interests just like any union does, their concerns are based on ensuring they get the highest wages, best positions and best benefits, not actual medical ones. I understand why unions want to defend their members, but in the middle of a pandemic is seriously not the time.

That is true about unions, but is the temporary presence of 200 foreign doctors going to affect the wages of Argentine doctors? It's hard to imagine that would be the case. I'd assume the Cuban doctors will get sent to underserved areas of Argentina with little financial resources like Santiago del Estero, Chaco, Formosa.

There are many hard working, dedicated medical professionals from Venezuela who have immigrated to Argentina over the past 5 years who are certainly helping during this time. Some Argentines love to complain that they are "stealing" all the jobs, but I hope they get some appreciation and recognition.

You are telling me this amazing free medical system is struggling with 3000 cases in a population of 40+ million... Dear Jesus. Spain had to deal with 200,000+ cases with a similar population. Something doesn't add up. Anyway it doesn't matter if it makes sense, the important thing is we continue to strengthen our relationship with other well run countries like Venezuela, Cuba and Bolivia...
