Good carniceria is Covadonga at Rodriguez Pena and Vicente Lopez, I haven't been disappointed yet.
Nuestro Secreto at Four Seasons has an excellent steak, grass-fed and aged, I highly recommend. Also great setting in a garden. It is expensive though. But far cheaper than the equivalent in the USA.
Fervor has very good tabla de achuras which, although pricey, is enough to satisfy two to three people. El Estrebe has the best mollejas. Buenos Aires Grill has good ojo de bife and lomo, and is less pricey than the other options.
I prefer to eat steak at home because the quality is better and the price is by far lower. Everything except achuras, which I can't cook at home.
