Boca juniors match

It is a big help if you know someone but try at the ticket office before kick-off and you should be okay. I have been to River and Velez but as a Banfield fan I want to be in the away stand for Boca at the chocolate box so I had to ask my friend to get me the tickets.
If you want a game now for the atmosphere then my local team Juniors are playing Velez in a play-off to qualify for the South American Cup on Thursday. The second leg is next week at Velez. The noise is amazing and you can say you have been to Diego Maradona's stadium!

I went to the game at Independiente's stadium in Avellaneda last night. The ambience was great. I heartily recommend going. There were two problems:

First was the play of Independiente--their timid play cost them the game. This morning, their head coach resigned.

If you stay for the entire game, be prepared to spend an extra hour leaving. The visitors leave first. It took about a 1-2 hour for the entire Boca contingency to leave. Then, the remaining Independiente ticket holders were permitted to leave. With delays and traffic leaving the stadium, it took about an hour after the game to exit.

The stadium is in the process of being renovated. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms--especially when compared with other stadiums.

There is very tight security. Expect to be frisked upon entering the game. There were lots of police around after the game not only to facilitate a smooth exit by the visiting fans but also to ensure no clashes between Boca supporters and the home side.

Overall, if you like football, I suggest you go to a game here. The ambience is great. The fans are so animated, I found myself looking at their actions nearly as much as the game (not a great game--Boca won 1-0). I plan to attend another game soon with hopefully, a better result.

hi there, you can usualy buy tickets the morning of the match at the stadium in the windows....but u got to be there early id advise around 9.30-10.... hotels sell tickets ,like the wilton on calloa ,but charge alot of money , but hey if u have the money ,why not ....you will have a blast ..
hope it helps

.....elalanicito,what are you on about ,talking about the clean toilets ..who cares !!! you probly would be fussy on the burgers and panchos they sell aswell..boca all the way

I have been to at least one stadium where I would not use the bathroom because the place was so filthy. Clean bathrooms at a stadium are important!
