I really can't believe this, after all the fuss this govt seems to be making about tax evasion etc etc they go and basically legalising the re entry of money laundered outside of the country back in at a healthy return.

I really think it sounds too good to be true. Stunned.

In such a stable, zero-inflation economy, this is obviously a remarkable deal.

i think Italy did something similar not too long ago.
Whiten your undeclared cash, put it into the system, let the Gov't spend it and go investigate you for "other" undeclared assets and then change the rules so that your bond is not worth anything close to what they promised you.

Wash, rinse and repeat as necessary.

They tried this a couple years ago , slightly different. Repatriate your dollars and we will only tax you 4 % for all you bring back to us .

That obviously was a failure , so they created this scam , where they pay you !!! Wow , what a novel idea.

Corporate junk bonds have a yearly yield of almost 5% and I find them safer than this used toilet paper they are trying to sell.
