Maybe the Scottish will leave the UK and join back into the EU, then I'll trade my British passport for a Scottish one and hopefully won't get kicked out of the boot!

In the meantime wondering which will be a better use of my time: trying to become an Italian citizen (I've got an Italian granny!) or selling up everything and getting residency in Argentina!

There is also a division in age groups, the majority of people under 45 voted in while the majority of people over 45 voted out. It is the revenge of the elder British, so the young generation does not forget about them when they are gone.

Because people think their vote doesn't mater and they cast it as a protest vote against the status quo (also explains a lot of Trump / Sanders support in the US) there are a bunch of these clips and stories making the rounds. People who wanted to say fuck you to Cameron and thought it was ok because OF COURSE remain was going to win

The SNP are experts in taking advantage of a situation. If a referendum for independence was held tomorrow the no vote would be bigger than the last one. I speak as a proud Brit as well as a Scot. As for the EU....good riddance I say. Great idea spoilt by latterly becoming a charity for countries who either couldn't or weren't prepared to stand on their own two feet.

i think you're wrong about this. Anecdotal i know 4 people who have already changed their minds about the indy ref and 2 more who are seriously looking at where they would stand.
