Bringing Medicine Inside A Checked Suitcase

We have a friend flying to BA from the States. She will bring us some doctor samples of Pradaxa. Are there any particular problems we should anticipate? Do we need a doctor's note or prescription or ... We have bought this medicine here without a prescription. Thanks for any insight.
 
you shouldnt have a problem- if they go through your shit and ask about it just speak english and say its is from your doctor and that is how you get meds from your doctor. do not speak any spanish

i actually had more issues bringing in peanut butter years ago than i did with the couple bottles of pills i had brought, in nameless containers.

if you can get a doctor to write you a note okaying you for buying meds without a presecription, why not get one?
