Hi everyone!

Me and my employer are currently looking for cheap employers of record / EOR-services in argentina. The goal is for me to continue working remotely for my current employer (in germany) while living in argentina. Main reason for the EOR is for my employer to be able to do payroll and for me to get a work visa in argentina. We don't really need a full HR platform or any other kinds of extra functionality.

I'm looking for any kind of recommendations you may have and also experiences with a setup like this.

Thank y'all for your input and best regards!

Do you mean to say you're looking for a place to give you a job in name only, while you continue to work your real job in Germany, so you can obtain a work visa here?

That's basically it, yes. I'm looking for a way to permanently move in together with my girlfriend and as I currently work in FPGA / chipdesign I don't really see a chance to find something comparable in argentina at the moment. The EOR and work visa would be my preferred solution, at least until 1) I can apply for permanent residency, 2) my girlfriend and I marry and I can apply for spouse visa or 3) we decide to move somewhere else.

Interesting, at first glance I would have thought this was not possible or at the very least legally tenuous, but now looking at the information on the Manpower site, it does seem viable. Good luck!

Also, FPGA/chip design is such a cool field. Not that I know much about it, I'm simply always curious about the differences in chip architectures and why ARM/RISC is so much more efficient than x86 especially in terms of heat output...
