Countdown To Default!

It's hard to believe that you are smart enough to play attorney. Read the F...ing statement by Judge G...he repeatedly says that the 2 sides must negotiate in good faith. He is rightfully pissed off because 3 members of the AR government have personally slandered him with public derogatory comments. And. Finally. ....Argentina has attempted isolationism for 60 yrs and we all see how successful that was.

Well, if the sentence is valid, then the judge has to enforce it, there is no negotiation.

The judge insist about the negotiation because his sentence is not enforzable...and he knows it.

The whole case is a jurídic scandal.

Well, given the flexibility of Peronist law...

You are so ignorant here.
It is legal because Argentina is a State with sovereignty who has to pay the restructured bondholders and how it does it is its own busisness. International públic law are the rules accepted by custom by the civilized countries and it has nothing to do with Peronismo.

Argentina always agrees to abide by the rules - until it's no longer expedient.

Any experts out there who can comment on whether this will work, if it's technically legal etc?
For whatever it is worth. The author is quite savvy concerning this thing.

........this was more about the 40-page retelling of the history and the politics of it all. Escalation is the message.

Chinas president came to Argentina.
Vadimir Putin came to Argentina.

And only two weeks later some moron talks of isolasionism.

Both China and Argentina will use Argentina for their own benefit - they will never think of Argentine interests.
Europe , and the rest of America are seriously a better bet
