Managing the pandemic....They question in Spain a vaccine against the coronavirus that will be tested in Argentina....
In Argentina, three vaccines against the coronavirus are already being tested, in phase III of the clinical study, with volunteers who receive doses in our territory. Now, a new formula against Covid-19 touches us closely. But it generates controversy.
While the Spanish Ministry of Health rejected the trial of an experimental Spanish vaccine, Argentina did approve it in a very similar study.
It's the RUTI vaccine. The health authorities of that European country denied authorization due to "the lack of scientific evidence" of the first favorable results. Here, with the permission already signed, it will be tested on 370 health workers to evaluate its possible effectiveness to stop the new coronavirus, in a phase II trial....
....As the company reported in late October, the vaccine is expected to be effective against viral infections such as the new coronavirus, for which it received approval from Argentina's National Administration of Drugs, Food and Medical Technology (ANMAT) to conduct the clinical trial. This is a double-blind study with placebo, lasting nine months, financed from Barcelona by the Generalitat of Catalonia....

What are and in what state are the vaccines being negotiated by the Government?
Coronavirus: what vaccines are being tested in Argentina?

I wonder if I get the Pfizer vaccine in the U.S. will that be sufficient to be allowed into Argentina?

In my opinion, it's too soon to speculate seriously in an attempt to answer that specific question today.

This is the priority for vaccination in the U.S. once the vaccine is available.

For people 'living in the U.S.'
Phase 1A Doctors/nurses/emt,
Phase 1B People of all ages with two or more risk factors.
Phase 2 Teachers, child care workers
Phase 3 Children and young adults under 30
Phase 4 Everyone else

Most of the vaccines in phase 3 are of the same or similar tech used by Pfizer. They will be able to vaccinate only half a billion people by end of 2021. So needless to say, not everyone will get this vaccine. Pust it's highly likely that the other 2-3 vaccines mentioned are also effective. We will know in a few weeks.

....The Mutual Cooperation Agreement was signed on Friday, July 31, between the representative of the Pfizer firm, Dr. Fernando Polack as principal investigator and the General Director of the Central Military Hospital. This agreement laid the foundations for mutual cooperation in the clinical study that aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 in healthy volunteers in Argentina. It should be noted that this study has the respective authorizations of the National Administration of Medicines, Food and Medical Technology (ANMAT) and the Institutional Committee for the Review of Clinical Trials (CIREC) of this Military Hospital.

Update: 10 November 2020 at 7:45am...Canal Trece.
Dr. Nelson Castro interviewed Ezequiel Boetti (young/age 25?), a volunteer in the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine trial being conducted at the ARG Central Military Hospital. The volunteer stated not knowing if he received a placebo. He reported having had minor aches after each shot. The 1st dose was administered in August and the second, 3 weeks later, in September. He will be followed by Dr. Polack's group for 24 months thereafter the completion of Phase 3 of the trial as established by the protocol.
