The point is that the decision making makes absolutely NO SENSE, you could have 400,000 people fully vaccinated and protected from the virus, instead, for reasons no one can explain (other than the clear demagogic intent that Fernandez and crew have) they choose to vaccinate 800,000 people total, which helps a grand total of 0 people.

Yesterday I was inoculated with the 1st dose of AstraZeneca at a center in CABA open from 8:00am-8:00pm. I received the call on Monday to offer an appt. Excellent logistics at the site as well as the sanitation measures. I was in and out within 20 minutes.

On my Certificate of Vaccination no one wrote a timeframe for the 2nd dose. At the exit interview, the volunteer said I would receive another call to schedule the 2nd dose. "A minimum waiting period of 60 days is subject to future arrivals of the vaccine".

Using your analogy, If you need 800,000 people to be able to walk with shoes. Would you buy 400,000 pairs of shoes? Or 800,000 left shoes?
Also, I was indicating that other vaccines have similar recommended times between doses. The Philippines’ FDA gave a 42 day maximum for Sputnik, which I indicated is the same period that moderna has.
