Cristina's New Party... Frente Unidad Ciudadana Kirchnerista

The fact that she's still politically relevant two years after leaving the presidency shows just how much of a failure Macri and Cambiemos have been up until now.

As published by Clarín, the Office of the Ombudsman found the lack of notice or injunction prior to the suspension of the disabled persons who were removed from the pension. "Many victims claimed in their presentations that they became aware of the cessation of their benefit in the bank at the time of collection. This fact would have meant an aggravation for the victims as they did not have the possibility to foresee the lack of that income, placing them In a serious state of helplessness, and not allowing the exercise of administrative resources by hiding the fundamentals, "says the note sent by the agency. "We do not have the phones or addresses of all pensioners," argued Stanley [minister].

"We discharged pensions to people who are not permanent and total invalids, but have some degree of disability," acknowledges the official and gives an example: "a person with down syndrome is not subject to the right of this pension. He can work if he wishes, he may be able to fit the universal child allowance. "

How much lower can you go? With policies like these, Cristina will be president again in two years.

Seems a real shitty policy and an absolute gift for Christina and the opposition. She will win in Gran Bs As, it just remains to see by how much. If she does well then I can see investment in Argentina drying up until the next elections in 2019.

Elections which will see Argentina at a crossroads. Continue with Macri and his reforms or back down the road with you know who.

Cristina could be president in two years,... of the prison yard she's going to be sent to.
President of a country ?,... never. Don't you read the newspapers? follow the news?

Unlikely Cristina president again according to the present political/parties scenery. This kind of policies prepares the Trump /Brexit way in my opinion.

Reading the newspapers in Argentina does not make you informed.

Do you think she's running for Senate for sh*ts and giggles? Almost every poll hands Cristina the seat. Her only "serious" competition right now is Randazzo, who they House-of-Cards'd when they decided to create a new party leaving him with an empty PJ. (Cristina has the support of La Matanza's mayor for example, which is almost a guarantee that she wins, barring some black swan event.) Even if she competed against him in the PJ (during the primaries), he'd lose. He can't even win his home town of Chivilcoy, much less the Province.

As of now, there is no evidence of Cristina being directly involved in any of the corruption. It's just sensationalized drivel that makes "news," as you put it. Why do you think she's still walking free? If we are going to be putting anyone in jail for corruption, undeclared money and bank accounts in tax havens, it should be Macri - at least there's actual evidence for it.

I have no idea whether she can be president again or not. A lot can change. Many people didn't believe that she could viably compete in any election after her candidate lost in 2015, yet here we are. The economy has yet to rebound, and based on their current priorities it's mathematically impossible for it to do so. Thus, anything could happen in 2019.

This is Argentina. Usual rules do not apply.
